Cruffin (Tira Misu Amoretti)

This is a laminated sweet dough, baked in a muffin tin, dusted with sugar, and filled like an eclair.  A flaky and decadent treat that has taken the pastry world by storm.  The Tira Misu Cruffin is inspired by my favourite dessert and is an espresso cream filling with an amoretti cookie on top. 

I recommend eating cruffins the day they are purchased.
